The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a wonderful support for many families caring for a child with a disability, but navigating the system can be confusing at the best of times. We can help support you with your NDIS plans and advise on how to best advocate for the needs of your child from a physiotherapy perspective.

We will work closely with your health care professionals at the major paediatric hospitals to ensure a collaborative approach to get best outcomes for your child preceding and following orthopaedic surgery or Botulinum Toxin injections.

Your child may require access to assistive technology to achieve their therapy and inclusion goals. We work closely with a number of Sydney's leading equipment suppliers to trial and find the most suitable piece of equipment. If required, we have experience writing supporting documentation for this assistive technology to the NDIA, charities or insurance companies. 

Neurological serial/ stretching casts are a specialised treatment that requires a therapist with years of training to ensure a child's joints are safely stretched to be able to achieve their full flexibility, comfort and function. CJ Paediatric Therapy has over 10 years' experience with casting namely with cerebral palsy, brain injured, spinal cord injured, talipes and spina bifida clients. 

The first five years of a child's life have been shown to be vital in developing key developmental skills.

We will work closely with parents, carers and extended family to ensure your child reaches their developmental goals in a loving and nurturing environment.

Water is an incredible medium to provide rehabilitation and exercises in a gravity eliminated environment but with the resistance of water. We also teach you child to be familiar and safe in the water and work closely with swimming instructors so your child's additions needs are considered and programs adapted accordingly. We access local pools for aquatic therapy so that families can easily continue with therapy programs independently throughout the week.
